Experiment Title : Activated Carbon adsorption
Experiment Purpose : The adsorption process is one of collection soluble substances that are in solution on a suitable interface. And demands for a better quality effluent of treated wastewater have led to an intensive examination of the process of adsorption on activated carbon. Activate carbon holds much potential for meeting these demands. So we should understand about Activated Carbon adsorption and do experiment.
Reagents and apparatus
Jar test apparatus, Selected powder or Crushing granular carbon, Beaker, Measuring flask, Pipette, Electronic scale
Experimental methods
1. put the same samples of the wastewater in jar, and insert activated carbon 2~10g each jars
2. After setting up jar at jar tester, start stirring. (Stirring time and velocity : 2hours, 90∼100rpm)
